Amber Graner

VP of Marketing & Community
Amber’s open source journey started in 2009 when she started blogging about Ubuntu. Since then she’s written for Ubuntu User Magazine, co-authored The Official Ubuntu Book (6th & 7th edit.) and served as a technical reviewer for Jono Bacon’s Art of Community. She was the first Community Manager for Linaro (Linux on ARM) and went on to help architect and manage the Open Compute Project (OCP) Foundation Community where she later became the Operations Director from there she went to Corelight to become the Director of Community for the Zeek Project. Currently, she is the VP of Community and Marketing at Arrikto. Amber is a U.S. Army combat veteran serving in Desert Shield and Desert Storm where she received a Bronze Star for her efforts in theatre.

EVP Engineering & Customer Success
Pete Graner is currently the EVP of Engineering & Customer Success at Arrikto for Enterprise Kubeflow (EKF) and Managed EKF. Prior he was at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) serving as Senior Director of Substrate responsible for all of OCI’s bare metal enablement, automated repair operations and the OCI Control Plane. Pete also worked at Canonical where he served in numerous roles as the VP TechOps, Kernel Director, Release & QA Director for the Ubuntu Linux distribution. Prior to that Pete worked at Red Hat in various capacities which include, on-site SELinux Engineer at the National Security Agency (NSA) working on SELinux, he managed the Level 3 Support team, and his last position at Red Hat was the Base Operating System Engineering Manager for RHEL. Pete has also worked at HP, Sun Microsystems, and as a Govt. Contractor. Pete is a U.S. Army combat veteran seeing numerous tours of duty, in Granada, Panama, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Stefano Fioravanzo is a Product Manager involved in the full spectrum of the MLOps initiatives at Arrikto. With a background in data science and software engineering, he spent several years building ML libraries and designing ML platform tools. He is also an active member of the Kubeflow community and appreciates communal endeavors, engaging with people, and building products with tangible positive impact. Expect eclectic conversations about ML, communities, user experience, technology, and human behavior.

Kimonas Sotirchos

Software Engineer
Kimonas is a Software Engineer at Arrikto, working on storage solutions on the cloud. He loves Open Source and has been a core contributor to the Kubeflow project for more than a year. Kimonas is the owner of the platform’s Jupyter infrastructure and his main goal is to improve the way users manage the lifecycle of their ML tools, like Notebooks, and data on top of Kubeflow. He is also a mentor at the Kubeflow project at Google Summer of Code 2020 providing guidance for adding seamless support for launching Tensorboard instances.
