Arrikto expands its leadership team

San Mateo, California, Apr 4, 2019 ā€” Arrikto is excited to announce the expansion of its leadership team with three executive appointments: Joe Costello as Executive Chairman & EVP Sales and Marketing, Josh Bottum as Vice President of Sales, and Eliodoro ā€œBongā€ Batingana, Jr. as Chief Financial Officer.

Joe Costello named Executive Chairman & EVP Sales and Marketing
Joe brings to the role 30 years of proven experience in technology management, sales, and marketing. He is a globally recognized business leader with multiple successes during his long career, who will help with messaging, go-to-market strategy, and growing the company to a market leader. Arrikto is in front of a great market opportunity, experiences significant traction, identifies that timing is critical to success, and thus welcomes Joe Costello as the right person at the right time, to lead this venture. Costello also becomes an investor in Arrikto, proving his long-term commitment to the company.

Joe Costello

Joe was the CEO of Cadence Design Systems from 1988 to 1997. Under his tenure, Cadence became the worldā€™s leading supplier of electronic EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software and services, and one of the 10 highest-grossing software vendors globally. He led the company to over a billion dollars in annual revenue, making it the largest EDA company in the world. In 1997, Chief Executive Magazine named Costello the top CEO of America. In 2004, he was awarded the Phil Kaufman Award.

Joe served as CEO and/or Chairman of the Board in a number of successful companies after Cadence. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Enlighted Inc., from 2014 to 2018, when it was acquired by Siemens.

Josh Bottum named VP of Sales
Josh joins Arrikto with over 20 years of experience leading high-performance sales teams. In this role, he will oversee the development and implementation of Arriktoā€™s sales strategy. He will be responsible for scaling Arriktoā€™s sales team and expanding its reach to more key, forward-looking accounts.

In his recent role as Regional Sales Manager at Canonical, Josh was managing sales of professional services and technical support for Canonicalā€™s Open Source Software Solutions to Fortune 100 companies and selected growth accounts. His team focused on enabling large enterprise customers to increase their productivity and capture new market share.

He has previously worked on Sales and Product Management roles at both start-up companies and large corporations like NetApp, Cisco, and AT&T.

Eliodoro ā€œBongā€ Batingana, Jr. named CFO
Bong brings 15 plus years of senior corporate financial leadership, corporate and financial strategy, operations, and business development. He is a finance leader in software, hardware, and SaaS, from start-up, high-growth to public companies. Proven areas of expertise include, equity and debt fund raising, FP&A, M&A, business modeling and forecasting, technical accounting, change management, international expansion and global tax strategies.
